Life is precious and this phrase has been commonly used since the telecast of the HK serial drama, lifeforce. Indeed, the start of a life cycle brings hope and the end brings relief. It is always easy to claim how precious is life, but how exactly is life valuable? Who shall determine the value? And even if we are able to calculate the value, are we able to live up to it?
Well, who else except oneself has the right to value his/her own life? I highly doubt that our lives are to be determined by external factors. Everyone comes to this world with a purpose. Be it economically beneficial, spiritually helpful or socially active, it is still up to one self to determine which path one wants to take. People can easily argue, "Jus leave everything to fate. Providence will decide for us." Indeed, every purpose has been clearly listed out before one is being brought to this world, i don deny that.
And i once remember a quote from the movie The Last Samurai, "Jus do our best till the fate is revealed." Indeed, if we don do anything, nothing can be achieved. Life will be meaningless and that is wat youngsters have been complaining nowadays. However, if one is able to find out their purpose and their value and strive towards that, how can it be even meaningless in the first placE?
It is jus like having a goal and reaching it. The sense of satisfaction is beyond description. Take pride in our work and we will ultimately be able to taste the fruit of hard work - success. With that, life is really precious!
